LOGBACK
=======

Devel.one uses the slf4j interface as well as the Apache LogBack implementation to log texts.

The logging is controlled by the file **logback.xml**. This is used to control

    * how the logging process has to be performed 
    * what is logged
    * where to log (e.g. stdout, file ...)

For the system to find the file, we need a VM argument::

    -Dlogback.configurationFile=m:/run2/client001/logback.xml 
    
Internal logging
================

Internally logs are performed e.g. by the GateKeeper, which logs all rejected messages into a file.
The framework must know where the file is to be written.
For this, there is a program option according to the scheme ``path/key=value``::

    kernel/LogDir=m:/run2/client001/log
